it gets as far as teh loading screen, and at the poin where i would expect teh desktop to load, it resets. if you just added more then take out new ram...boot and if all is normal then shutdown and add your ram back. Controller items that have defaulted from AHCI or RAID ? They run loud at full speed, but produce a surprisingly low pitch. I'm not familiar with your BIOS, but this might be labelled as memory ratio, memory divider, memory frequency, or some other combination of similar words. Thanks in advance!

- I believe the standard setting for your board would be a 1:1 ratio, so with the FSB at 133MHz, the RAM is running at 133MHz as well, giving an effective 266MHz
That will start you at 2.0 then you can work up from there...depending on the chip you can expect a 200-300 mhz overclock.
