Just posting this in case anyone else is having this problem. By the way, if anybody is having problems deleting the *.wmdb files, because it gives you an error saying that Windows Media Player is currently using one of the *.wmdb files, I need help with this. i have very few albums in Media Player and if I lose them and have to rip them again, I don't consider it to be a problem. Close Microsoft Media Player for at least 30 seconds 2. Out of all the problems I've had with my computer, this one really set me off the most and I really thought the worst!

The path to the files is: C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Media Player Vista also displays the Media Library Is Corrupted Windows 7 All it needed was about 5 minutes of patience amongst the other apps I have running simutaneously. Depending on the amount of songs you have, and how fast your computer is this process can take from 30 seconds to 15 minutes. I had my music on my E: drive and moved everything over to my C: drive, which apparently caused WMP12 to have some sort of breakdown.
