- Something to do with malware screwing up the software.
- Tried to reload drivers from initial installation disc for PC - no joy.
- I just went to Device Manager>Network Adapters and uninstalled/reinstalled the driver for it and it came back and it has been working fine since.
- Several functions may not work.
- Click on the top of the Device Manager Tree (your pc) and select Action > Scan for Hardware changes.
- No wi-fi or Bluetooth.

If interested I can post instruction on booting from a USB flash drive. Dissappeared, was working fine previously. The wireless card was gone but after going to the manufacterer's site and reinstalling the drivers for the card, it got recognised after a reboot.
