Reinstall Windows Media Player
The Media Pack for Windows 10 N installed ok but WMP isn't there. Every other software pack works fine.I fixed it by going into "playback devices -> configure -> then changing from 5.1 to stereo. Who am I supposed to believe??

OP then downloaded wrong one from two Media Feature Packs available for Windows 10 N. http://winnthosting.com/windows-media/windows-media-player-rip-cd-error.html It's very weird and annoying, haha. Disabling the enhanced features did fix both WMP and MediaCenter. After disabling audio enhancements under 'manage audio devices' Windows Media Player sprung back into life. I've tried to remove all media applications from Windows 7 using optionalfeatures.exe, and then reinstalling them, with no change in behavior.Has anyone got any ideas as might what have happened?And is Windows Media Player Not Playing Mp3 The system build-in Codec cannot be reinstalled. Thanx!
How many cores can I use with my license?
The log file shows that there are broken files associated with Windows Sidebar (which the user does not use) but none relating to WMP. My Playlists are all still in tact with all the songs playable but there is no music showing under Music. I tried uninstalling, reinstalling and using a registry cleaner, but it still won't open.
