If you hold look in Device Manager, do you see anything with an exclamation mark (!) next to it? To me, a computer freezing means nothing on the computer responds to you (with the possible exception of the mouse cursor). a little update though, i checked my log, and it turned out i got the "nvidia infinite loop error" i got 2 new RAM memories and a new case with alot You said that your computer froze, which I understand (or thought I did); but then you said you went into "safe mode" and shut down from there.

Sign in to report inappropriate content. After restarting again, there is two ctfmon again and one of them is checked even though I unchecked everything. I've been testing the freezes with this game and within 5-10 minutes of playing it, the freeze happens.
Using the Processes tab on Task Manager gives you a simplified view of whats running, by using Process Explorer you get a much more detailed view.
