None of us have admin rights to our own machines. I complained about this at length to outside IT firm, and they couldn't figure it out. Hello and welcome to PC Review. Looks like you have no choice but to live with it or stop running applications that cause the reset.
It is very frustrating to have to reinstall every time I want to use the printer.It seems to go into a hibernation and then "forgets". To resolve the issue I delete the printer, use the 'add new printer' wizard and select the deleted printer from the drop down list and finish the wizard. Then it will print for awhile, then do it again. Close this window and log in.

First you may have an outdated driver for your video display card as others have already suggested.
