the problem was driving me crazy and as somebody else had written it was not the router etc to blame. What does that mean? Because there are basically a lot of reasons why an Internet connection may be be functioning properly. But I don't think that's a good solution... If you see anything with an exclamation point or red X under network adapters, that might be causing the network connection problems.
