In my case, I had PCA and FLAC files deleting beginnings/endings. Just to add a little more info, if anyone else is having this problem, try what I did here. Very good info to have. I have had my vista computer for over a year now and not used windows media player for my audio files as every file skips at the end!

Luckily, Windows Media Player 12 has just the feature to make this a reality (for Windows Media Player 11, read our tutorial on how to crossfade music in WMP 11 instead).
